Now I just have to vent for a minute!! A couple days ago Lauren started to get sick, she had a cough and was all stuffed up. So yesterday I took her to the doctor and he said she had an ear infection (first one for Lauren). He said he would send the perscription to Lovell Drug and then we were on our way out the door. I waited for about an hour before I went to get the perscription and so it was a little after 5. When I got to Lovell Drug they looked around for her perscription and said they never recieved it, and that the Clinic was closed so I would have to wait untill tommorow. Ok, so there wasn't anything I could do.. so we went home and that was that. So today I called the hospital and asked them if they could send the perscription agian. The receptionist said she would tell the nurse and then asked for my phone number. I waited about an hour (because i thought they might call and tell me they sent it) and I called the hostpital agian to see if it had been sent, the receptionist said she gave the message to the nurse but didn't know if she sent it and that i should call the lovell drug to see if it got there. I called the Lovell Drug and the line was busy, i tried a few more times, and it was always busy. So I decided to go down there and see if her medicine was ready. Again they said they had not recieved it, and to try the hospital agian. I called them and they put me on the phone with the nurse. It was almost frusterating because the nurse said, I don't know what the doctor perscribed Lauren (I was confused because I thought she could just look on her file) the nurse was quiet for a minute and then she said well right here under treatment it say's (the name of the medicine, I suck with names!) and i said that was it, I thought thats were she should have looked in the first place, but I don't know, and she said she would call it in. I waited about 10 minutes then went to Lovell Drug to see if he had got it, and he STILL hadn't recieved it. He told me to wait like a 20 min. to see if it would come in, Lauren was not liking all the moving around so I took her to my parents house, and my brother H.B. went and got the perscrition. It wouldn't have been such a problem if Erik had Lauren and I was just running the errands, but I could tell Lauren just didn't feel good, and she didn't want to be in her car seat.
Anyway!! I just had to share that, sorry if it was a little wild!
Lately Laurens hair had been just brushed to to side, because the only place her hair is growing is right on top of her head! The sides and middle don't seem to want to grow, and her hair in front it almost past her eyes.
I don't even like to think of trimming it because some babbies don't have hair until they are 3. So the other day I was blog snooping, and came across a hair-do blog. Most of the styles were for older children (with longer hair!) but there was one for a baby that I just loved!! It was called the two and a half pony (I think it was something like that!) All it is, is pigtails, but not your ordinary pigtails!!
(Also notice in this picture, Lauren is in a big girl carseat :( She is getting to big too fast. This carseat was handed down to Lauren for her cousins Kynlee, Kaya and Kysar. So it has seen many children but it is in really good shape. And nothing beats a free carseat!) I miss the carier carseat because times like these (when she is sleeping) it is not fun to wake her up when getting her out of her seat.)
Here is the close up of her hair! It's nothing to fancy, but it is fun to have a new style!
Now I have been inspired to try things with Lauren's hair, I should actually say DO something with Lauren's hair! It is so easy, and a habit for me to just brush lauren's hair out of her eyes and call it good!
This style isn't fancy at all, I just clipped all her hair to one side. But again for me it was a big deal because I don't do much with her hair!
In this picture she was playing with the zipper, I just thought it was funny :)
In this next picture you will see that her passifier has more that one purpose!
She acts like she is teething because she is chewing on everthing, but still no sign of them.
She is definitely thinking about crawling, and is no longer a lap sitter. If you have her on your lap she is trying to find a way off. She really wants to be mobile but can't figure out how to make her legs work. She can scoot backwards on the floor, but still no forward progress.

This is her new favorite way to sleep, on her side! Whenever I lay her down she just turns over to her side. I can tell if she doesn't turn over to her side, she is going to wake up any minute! So I like it when she turns to her side!
Now...
We have had this puppy for about a month now, and I was waiting to blog about her until we found a name for her... but we STILL do not have a name for this dumb dog! My suggestions to Erik are Lady, Daisy, or Ariel!! Ha ha but he hasn't budged for anyone of those names. I like the nameLady because he has the same breed of dog named Grizz, and so her name could be Lady Grizz!! So this is our nameless dog, she is a Brittney (dont' know if thats the right spelling) But all your really need to know is she is a hunting dog.
I am usually a puppy person, but with a baby around it just isn't the same. She is a puppy and likes to chew on everthing, and with baby toys around, it's hard to keep them all away for her.
This is when I like the puppy the most, when she is sleeping!
Last but not least her is Lauren's message to you!!
Just kidding.. but it is the cutest thing because she found her tougne the other night and couldn't stop using it!Sorry so long.. hope you enjoyed!
