Easter and more..

This is mostly a picture update of our Easter weekend! We had a great Easter weekend and got to see some family and enjoyed a few Easter egg hunts and birthday parties!

We started off dying the eggs. This sounded much more fun than it really was, but we did it any ways! Lauren didn't last very long, and I had some brown eggs that didn't dye very well.. like I said, we did it anyways! And that dang easter bunny even forgot to put the eggs out that we dyed!

Then on Saturday morning 4.22.11 we went over to the Byron park for the Easter Egg Hunt. She didn't want to get a picture with the easter bunny she was a little afraid of him! She was so funny, when they said "go" she just started running aimlessly around the field! We found a wopping 3 egg's!

Then after the park we loaded the girls and Triffen up in the car to this cuties birthday party
Lilli :) She really likes baby Sawyer and always likes to hold her!

Lilli's mom Amanda is possibly the most creative person and made these cute little chicks.

These cute little chicks are eatable!! and so so YUMMY!! Their cake pops, and most definitly enjoyable!

The kids did an egg hunt at the party and Triffen is quite the egg finder! When I told his mom she said " that's my little chicken chaser!" haha!

After the birthday party we went home, and decided we didn't want to be cooped up in the house anymore so we went to the park!

We also got to see our family across the mountain who we LOVE LOVE LOVE!
We had a great weekend full of family and fun, and most of all we were reminded of our Savior and all of the things he has done for us and the blessings that we recieve from his sacrafice.
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!

Sawyer, Six months and Sittin' Pretty!

Sawyer was 6 months on Sunday 4.17.11, and on 4.11.11 she descovered she could sit! When I showed Erik he wasn't too impressed and said "she sits just like that on my lap".... Well anyway I thought it was quite the acomplishment!
She is an amazing little girl, and is very much a momma's girl. In ways I like it and in ways I don't! For example she will be sitting on someones lap and I walk through the door - she starts to fuss and make lots of noise; and at church when someone else is holding her while I teach she fusses and acts likes she is hungry and as soon as they give her back to me... she is fine! But we roll with it and it all works out!

She still has all that fabulous curly hair, and everyday it turns lighter and lighter!

She still does not enjoy car rides!

She gets more rolls on her legs and belly daily! Erik told me today "why don't you drink more water so she can have some skim milk." haha.. can do dear! What would we do without husbands!

Sawyer loves her sister and Lauren loves her back! There is nothing that makes me feel happier when I see Sawyer's eyes light up when she see's Lauren and laughs at everything Lauren does! It is such a great blessing to have these two girls in my life, and they make me think about the simple things and how blessed we are as a family to have each other!

It is so much fun doing her hair!
Sitting outside on the bumbo :)
Getting some sugars from Grandpa Steve!
